Armour sans Anguish in Good Times

Armour sans Anguish was just featured in a local magazine, Good Times, here is Santa Cruz. They were so lovely to us--we love the article and pictures (except where I'm looking stoned) and couldn't have asked for anything more. You can read the whole article
here. We were featured along with
Emily's Filly and Crimson and Cocoa, which makes us feel doubly blessed.
Poo on New

Why do we buy new things when the old stuff is so much better? This is one small sampling of Julie's thrift luck. Vintage velvet pillow, Art Deco lamp w/ delicate shade, 70's ceramic vase, vintage glasses, and 60's brooches. Oh, and flowers from Julie's garden...have I mentioned her gardening skills? They constitute a force to be reckoned with.

Two New Dresses at BTC Elements

Two new dresses have been sent to
BTC Elements (if you haven't visited yet, you're missing out!). They should be available for purchase in the next few days!
I know it is sunny outside, but my head is living in October, specifically the 31st. In the few years we've been nursing Armour sans Anguish along, we've never done a huge Halloween event, which is why this year's event will have to make up for lost time. We're currently in the planning stages of an Edwardian (by Edwardian I also mean Edward Gorey-esque) Circus to be held at Queen Mabs in Modesto, CA. We don't have a date or time yet but I'm already there.

This vest fits nicely into my Halloween fantasy. Plus it's HOT. From

Na-na Na-na-na

I am a very lucky lady. Bethany of
Bitter Betty made this necklace for me!!! I can't wait to show it off on my neck and not just my blog!
Workspace Wonders
I'm curious about workspace organization. These are some selections from Flickr that have inspired me:
Is it better to leave walls white and the furniture minimal? What works best for you: clearing your mind with minimalism or surrounding yourself with inspiring colors and materials?
New Necklace Sample
New necklace concept I've been dreaming up. The pendant is a tag from a sample ring I found at a thrift store. I have no idea what its made of but seems vaguely wood-like and is super-sturdy (insert big, awkward question mark here). I could just cry because I've misplaced all of the other lovely tags (each color is different!) and I cannot for the life of me track them down! The pattern is a piece of paper my mom brought back for me from Italy and the flower is a vintage pin (backing removed). This is just the concept piece and as soon as I get my act together and find the other tags our accessories section should expand considerably.
