Workspace Wonders

I'm curious about workspace organization. These are some selections from Flickr that have inspired me:

Is it better to leave walls white and the furniture minimal? What works best for you: clearing your mind with minimalism or surrounding yourself with inspiring colors and materials?

Personally, I prefer to be surrounded by color and inspiring EVERYTHING! I'm sure that has to do with living in far too many pale-colored apartments, but also the colors and creative do-dads help to remind me why I am in my workroom in the first place, let alone spark new creations.

i like mixing everything. Some white walls and minimal furniture, but also a lot of images, pieces of fabric, and colors in some corner. To me it is important to have everything organized but when i'm in the process of creating something i like it to be a complete mess.
What i also like is to create a room where i feel comfortable, with wood furniture, plants, sunlight, stones, candles, music...
i always buy stuff and materials when i find what i like, so when i need it i already have it.

i'll be back if remember something else
